Grew up… to become a slick, sweet-talking high school kid who sees himself as a stud. But while he acts like he’s already learned every trick in the book, Mark's really just as inexperienced as the next kid.
Living… with what he calls “the attitude.” As he explains to his friend Mark, “the attitude dictates that you don’t care whether she comes, stays, lays or prays. I mean whatever happens your toes are still tappin’.”
Profession… wise guy. Mike doesn’t care much for a normal job, so he makes most of his cash by scalping tickets and taking bets.
Interests… the ladies. Mike is an advocate of the “five point plan” for seduction, which starts with “never let on how much you like a girl" and ends with the fifth and most important point, “whenever possible, put on side one of Led Zeppelin IV.”
Relationship Status... single. One night stands are fine, but relationships? Way too much work for Mike to be a fan.
Challenge… maintaining his cool image. As it turns out, not only is Mark thought of as the “loudmouth” of Ridgemont High, he's not really liked by anyone either. If he doesn’t start treating Mark a bit better, Mike might find himself without any real friends.
Personality… too cool for school. Mike thinks of himself as a ladies' man and he can be a bit of a know-it-all when it comes to dating. He likes to give advice to his friends, but it turns out that Mark might not be as successful as he makes himself out to be.

Follows a group of high school students growing up in southern California, based on the real-life adventures chronicled by Cameron Crowe. Stacy Hamilton and Mark Ratner are looking for a love interest, and are helped along by their older classmates, Linda Barrett and Mike Damone, respectively. The center of the film is held by Jeff Spicoli, a perpetually stoned surfer dude who faces off with the resolute Mr. Hand, who is convinced that everyone is on dope.

Welcome to lunch court. That's Spicoli over there, trying hard to unwrap a bologna sandwich. His eyes are still red-rimmed from the three bowls of dope he smoked after his morning surf. Stacy Hamilton doesn't look any different even though she finally lost her virginity last night. Linda Barrett, Stacy's best bud, wants to hear all about it. After all, she gives lessons. And here comes Brad Hamilton, king of the lunch court and prince of the fast-food employee hierarchy. Brad's guy who takes pride in his fries. Mike Damone takes pride in the Attitude, which he developed in Philly, his hometown, where "life is cheap." And here's that wussy Mark Ratner. Girls make him sweat. He'll do more than sweat when he turns up in the yearbook class picture with something missing.
