Midoriya Izuku

Living… at the UA high school dorms. He attends one of the most prestigious hero academies in Japan and gains admission after a series of serendipitous events.

Profession… student and aspiring professional hero. All Midoriya ever wants in life is to be a hero like his idol, All-Might, who is one of the strongest heroes in history. Unfortunately for him, he's born without a Quirk, a fact that quashes any burgeoning heroic dreams. But fate has other plans for Midoriya. A chance encounter changes everything for him.

Interests… heroes, every single one of them. Midoriya keeps a notebook where he analyzes all abilities, strengths, and weaknesses of heroes. He's a mega-fan, to say the least.

Relationship Status… single. He's not without admirers, though. The villain Himiko and his good friend Ochako both harbor romantic feelings for him.

Challenges… mastering his newly acquired Quirk, overcoming his shyness, and defeating villains. After a random run-in with All-Might, Midoriya inherits the One for All Quirk. This grants him unimaginable physical strength and gets him in the door at UA high school. However, that's only the beginning of Midoriya's journey. He now needs to learn how to control his extremely powerful, and thus destructive, Quirk. Meanwhile, villainous figures in the background are making their moves and starting to cause chaos. Midoriya will need to take on the mantle of his mentor All-Might and become strong enough to defeat new and old threats. As he says to All-Might, "You're the best. That’s why I want to defeat You!”

Personality… dedicated, brave, and selfless. Midoriya is earnest and never gives up on his dream of becoming a hero. Even at the threat of his own life, Midoriya attempts to save Bakugo from a slime villain, something All-Might takes note of and applauds him for. And in preparation for the UA high school exams, Midoriya trains all night while attending class during the day—an impressive feat that shows the extent of how far Midoriya is willing to go for his dreams.
