Michonne

Living... in a post-apocalyptic United States. One day, for unkown reasons, the dead began to rise and feast upon the living. Most of the people in the United States have been wiped out, but Michonne is armed with a sharp katana and even sharper reflexes. She’s been getting along on her own well, but it’s getting more and more dangerous to exist without a group.

Profession... tracker, hunter, and kickass zombie assassin. She maintains an air of mystery as she joins up with a camp of survivors – to gain their respect and to keep them at a distance. There’s too much pain in her past that they can’t know about.

Interests… art. Not much is known about Michonne, but she might just be an art buff. She tends to grab a sculpture or some other beautiful piece of art on her supply runs. And when she’s with her boyfriend and son in her dreams, they’re enjoying an art exhibit. Sure, those pieces of art don’t mean anything to the rest of the camp, but it’s a small step to preserve what life was like before the walkers.

Relationship Status... single. But she doesn’t want to talk about it. She had a boyfriend, Mike, and a son named Andre. They’re both dead, or worse: walkers. Michonne left on a supply run and when she got back, her camp was already under attack. Now she only talks to him in her sleep. “Mike,” she says, “I miss you.”

Challenge... oh, besides the zombies? Michonne feels a terrible amount of guilt for failing to protect her son. She channels her grief into hunting the undead. She protects Rick’s group and helps make the south safer – one zombie at a time.

Personality... determined. She is singularly focused on survival. Well, survival and revenge. Walkers took everyone she loved, and she won’t stop until the entire state of Georgia is covered in the heads of the formerly undead. But when she meets up with Rick and the others, she regains some of her compassion.
