Character Analysis
(Avoiding Spoilers)
Overview… the owner of a book depository and frequent patron of gourmet French restaurant Le Hollandais. While there, Michael maintains a secret affair with Georgina Spica, wife of evil mob boss Albert Spica. Albert runs amok in the establishment with his abusive behavior towards the fellow patrons and staff, but Michael keeps his eyes glued to his book, unbothered. That is, until it’s time to go to the loo and make love to Spica’s wife.
Personality… sensitive, cultured, and gentle. Michael is everything Albert isn’t – erudite, compassionate, and definitely not a murderous psychopath. He can’t understand how Georgina could even end up with someone like Albert, much less stay with him. Their bond is immediate – neither of them do this sort of thing. Somehow the likelihood of certain death if he’s caught isn’t enough to stop his temptation.
