Grew up… in a typical American household in Haddonfield, Illinois. Despite his wholesome upbringing, Michael was haunted by extreme nightmares throughout his childhood and he often tortured and killed small animals for fun. He heard voices, saw visions of murder, and eventually at the age of 6 was driven to kill his own sister on Halloween night, 1963.
Living… in Smith’s Grove Sanitarium. Michael has been locked up in this mental ward for 15 years. Michael was looked after, studied and kept in isolation under the supervision of Dr. Sam Loomis.
Visiting… his old hometown. Michael vandalized his room at Smith’s Grove, carved the word “SISTER” into the wall, and somehow managed to escape. He’s returned home to deal with some unfinished business with his other sister, Laurie.
Interests… murder. Michael is consumed by a drive to kill. As Dr. Loomis states, “I realized what was living behind that boy’s eyes was purely and simply… evil.”
Challenge… killing his sister and avoiding being taken back to Smith’s Grove. Michael has escaped from the sanitarium for one purpose: to kill Laurie. The silent and emotionless Michael hypnotically stalks his sister, waiting for Halloween night before he makes his deadly move.
Personality… psychopathic and unstable. In the words or his psychologist, Dr. Loomis, Michael has “no reason, no conscience, no understanding, [not] even the most rudimentary sense of life or death, of good or evil, right or wrong.” His trademark white, expressionless mask and his plain, blue boiler suit strike fear in his victims.

On Halloween, an all girl rock-n-roll band called ?Kill Pussy Kill? ventures out to play their biggest show to date. However, before hitting the road they manage to unwittingly upset a man. Unfortunately, this man turns out to be an evil genius dead set on revenge. The evil genius manages to lure the girls into his Hell House and when they wake up from being gassed, they find themselves trapped inside an inescapable room filled with a vicious variety of devices that can kill them as well as a variety of weapons that can be used on each other. The rules are simple: advance through all three rooms and you are allowed to go free. The catch is, in order to make it to the next room, someone must die!
