Michael Burry

Overview... hedge fund manager unwilling to hedge his bet on the impending collapse of the housing market. A strange guy who enjoys speed metal almost as much as he likes math, he is positive that subprime mortgages will lead to a housing crisis. When he bets his fund against the big banks and the American economy, his clients revolt against him. But, he's reading tea leaves they don't even know exist.

Personality... quirky, anti-social, and brilliant. He loves putting on his headphones and drumming to keep out all the noise of his clients, the market, and the equations running through his own head. Socially awkward, the banks don't take him seriously, but he uses this to his advantage. If his bets pay off, he'll go home with billions.
