Character Analysis

(Avoiding Spoilers)

Living… in Los Angeles with her gangster husband, Marsellus Wallace. Marsellus owns a strip club joint in Inglewood, but that’s just a front for his illegal operations.

Profession... failed television actress. Mia was cast in a failed pilot for the show “Fox Force Five” where she played “Raven McCoy,” who, according to Mia, was “the deadliest woman in the world with a knife.” Now though, she relies on her husband for financial support.

Interests… cocaine and dancing. Mia is addicted to cocaine likes to go out dancing and just have a good time.

Relationship Status… married. Mia’s husband Marsellus is a brutal man and is very protective of his wife. People claim that he once threw a man off a balcony just for giving his wife a foot massage. Recently, Marsellus left Mia with one of his more trustworthy hitmen, Vincent Vega, and told him to show her a good time. But not too good.

Challenge… having fun with Vincent while her husband is away. Mia is bored with her life so she makes Vincent take her out to a 1950s-themed restaurant called Jack Rabbit Slim’s. It wouldn’t be half-bad if a criminal guy like Vincent has some drugs lying around for her to use.

Personality… fun-loving and direct. Mia loves to let loose and do fun things, regardless of the consequences. She is easily bored, chronically dissatisfied, and has trouble making genuine connections with anyone. As she says, “That’s when you know you’ve found somebody special. When you can just shut the f--k up for a minute and comfortably enjoy the silence.”
