Overview... a socialite in Bodega Bay, California, now dealing with a bird invasion. At first, Melanie figured they were hungry. Now she’s sure the town is in trouble, though no one can say what caused all this mayhem. The bird war, the bird attack, the bird plague – you can call it what you want to, but they're out there massing someplace and they'll be back, you can count on it!
Personality... weak-willed, snooty, and confused. Melanie has been pampered her entire life, indulging in the finest things life has to offer. Now she’s faced with something she can’t make disappear with money, and her entire being is crumbling. She longs to get back to her comfortable life. It’s all she’s ever known. But first, she needs to survive these vicious birds.

Chic socialite Melanie Daniels enjoys a passing flirtation with an eligible attorney in a San Francisco pet shop and, on an impulse, follows him to his hometown bearing a gift of lovebirds. But upon her arrival, the bird population runs amok. Suddenly, the townsfolk face a massive avian onslaught, with the feathered fiends inexplicably attacking people all over Bodega Bay.
