Overview... a young kindergartener who is surrounded by adults who don’t understand or support her. Matilda is faced with an evil, dictatorial principal, adding to the problems she has at home with a dim-witted family that simple doesn’t care. However, Matilda soon learns that she has special telekinetic powers, and quickly begins using her powers to entertain herself and get back at those who have wronged her.
Personality… passionate, spunky, and intelligent beyond her age. Matilda cares deeply about books and education. No one shares her love of knowledge except for her teacher, Miss Honey, who nurtures Matilda’s passions and often defends her from the dangers of the world.

A grouchy couple are parents to a very sweet girl, Matilda. Unlike her bratty brother and mean parents, Matilda becomes a very sweet and extremely intelligent six-year-old girl, who is very keen to go to school and read books. After a while, her parents send her to school with the worst principal in the world, a very sweet teacher, and good friends. While trying to put up with her parents' and principal's cruelty, she starts to unwittingly unleash telekinetic powers, destroying a television and making a newt fly onto the principal. With enough practice, Matilda starts to learn to control her telekinetic powers and soon using them on her principal so she can drive her away from the school.

She expects school to be different but there she has to face Miss Trunchbull, a menacing, kid-hating headmistress. When Matilda is attacked by the Trunchbull she suddenly discovers she has a remarkable power with which to fight back. It'll take a superhuman genius to give Miss Trunchbull what she deserves and Matilda may be just the one to do it!
