Character Analysis

Grew Up… in Harlem, New York. M.M had a close relationship with his father, a lawyer who died an early death due to compounding stress from investigating the wrongful murder of his father. When M.M was a child, a supe threw a car into his home, killing his grandfather on the spot. M.M blames himself for waking his grandfather to show him the supe, to begin with. He is haunted by the memory of his father, who he recalls working day to night to build up a case to sue the hero foundation for the murder of his father. Now, M.M seeks vengeance against the supe that caused distress to his family, even if it means following Billy’s whatever-the-cost methods.
Living… in whatever hideout the Boys share while on the run from the cops or the Vought foundation. When he is not in hiding, he shares custody of his daughter Janine with his ex-wife, Monique.
Profession… Corpsman, ex-juvenile counselor turned vigilante.
Interests… Wu-Tang Clan and Outlander. Aside from his love for hip-hop, M.M holds a deep love for his daughter and can be spotted building her new toys and gadgets alike in his spare time.
Relationship Status… divorced. He still is in love with his ex-wife, even if she has moved on.
Challenge… coming to terms with his vengeance. Like the rest of the Boys, he is traumatized by damage caused by supes in his past and is dead set on a vendetta. For better or for worse, he will stop at nothing until he brings justice to those he has lost.
Personality… compassionate, intelligent, and level-headed. M.M is the heart of the group, incredibly protective and supportive of his friends and family alike. As he says, “If I’m gonna make a difference, I just feel more comfortable doing it on a smaller scale. I’m a motherf**ker with a heart.” In the endless dangerous situations that the Boys find themselves in, he is quick to remain on task and show some semblance of concern. He does not succumb to his more vindictive desires like the others are more prone to—that is, unless Soldier Boy is involved.
