Living… in France. Marissa moved in with her boyfriend, Oliver, and his son, Benoit. Unfortunately, she struggles to connect with Benoit, and her relationship with Oliver is starting to get rocky.
Profession… CIA operative. Marissa is a skilled agent, once in charge of a government operation named UTrax. Operating at a remote facility in Romania, this program was kept well under wraps, even within the CIA. However, it was disrupted when a man who worked for her, Erik Heller, stole a baby from the program and disappeared into the forest. After that, the program was shut down and Marissa was reassigned.
Interests… starting over. After the downfall of UTrax, Marissa turned her life around, quitting smoking and coffee. She’s not about to let Erik’s reappearance ruin what she’s worked so hard to build.
Relationship Status… dating Oliver. Marissa’s devotion to her work might come at the cost of her relationship. Oliver can tell she’s keeping secrets.
Challenge… bringing down Erik and capturing Hanna. Erik and the baby he disappeared with were presumed dead, but much to Marissa’s surprise they have resurfaced 15 years later. It appears Erik has trained the child, Hanna, all these years, as she repeatedly evades capture. Meanwhile, Marissa is beginning to uncover details about the program that she wasn’t privy to before. Being someone else’s pawn does not sit well with her.
Personality… fearless and cunning. Marissa is a commanding leader, and when things go awry, she takes matters into her own hands. If she needs to, she can put on a sweet smile, but anyone who knows her will know that she’s constantly scheming. In this world of secrecy and double-crossing, there is no one Marissa trusts but herself.
