Marion

Overview… a French photographer who is living in New York. Marion straddles the line between New World practicality and Old World sophistication. She tells her life story though the Parisian arrondissements in which she used to live: “I was born in the 13^th, raised in the 14^th, lived in the 9^th, 10^th, 11^th, 12^th, 19^th, and 20^th – until I moved to New York.” She and her neurotic American boyfriend, Jack, are on vacation in Europe, and have stopped off in Paris to visit her parents for two days. But she doesn’t know whether the sensitive Jack can put up with her French sensibilities – especially when confronted with her past lovers.

Personality… sophisticated, beautiful, and witty. Marion can switch easily from arguing about Baudelaire in French, to lambasting her boyfriend with a sarcastic remark in English. A photographer, she prefers to observe the world: “Taking pictures all the time turns you into an observer, it automatically takes you out of the moment.”
