Margot Tenenbaum

Overview... an award-winning playwright suffering from long-term writers block. Margot is the adopted daughter of Royal Tenenbaum, a litigator and neglectful father who now claims to be dying from stomach cancer. Margot is married to an older man, the loving neurologist Raleigh St. Clair, whom Margot does not truly love in return.

Personality… secretive, promiscuous, and self-sufficient. Margot ran away from home as a teenager to meet her birth family. She came back missing half of a finger, and gave no one an explanation. She’s a smoker but hides it from her family and husband, smoking only in private and vehemently denying any accusations that she lights up.
