Character Analysis

Grew up... with no heart. Little is known of M. Bison’s past before he rose to power, including with the “M” really stands for. However, at one point he did purge all goodness from his body to achieve more complete, but dark, powers.
Living... in Thailand. Bison operates out of a secret base there, controlling his vast criminal organization Shadaloo.
Profession... military dictator. As supreme commander of Shadaloo, Bison directs everything from its expansive drug trafficking network, to its numerous science projects like cloning and brainwashing, to the various World Warrior martial arts tournaments it hosts.
Interests… conquering the world. All Bison wants in life is to become the strongest fighter in the world and rule it with an iron fist. Everything he does is in service of accomplishing that goal.
Relationship Status... single. As a megalomaniac who cares only for himself, Bison doesn’t have time for romance. However, he does have a few twisted relationships with his associates like Juri; his mindlessly obedient “doll” assassins like Cammy; and his “daughter” Rose, who wields power that counters his own.
Challenge... mastering the Psycho Power. Bison’s most intimidating weapon is the deadly Psycho Power. It manifests as purple energy beams that he uses to obliterate opponents. However, because of its chaotic strength, Bison’s body gradually deteriorates while holding it inside him. So while he searches for a way to overcome this weakness, Bison is forced to periodically and inconveniently transfer his soul between human hosts.
Personality... pure evil. Bison is a callous, diabolical mastermind. And the only thing that surpasses his power is his ego. As he said to World Warrior Chun-Li while recalling the time he murdered her father, “For you, the day Bison graced your village was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday.”

In Street Fighter, the player takes control of martial artist Ryu, who competes in a worldwide martial arts tournament, spanning five countries and ten opponents. A second player can join in at any time and take control of Ryu's rival, Ken. The player can perform three types of punch and kick attacks, each varying in speed and strength, and three special attacks: the Hadouken, Shoryuken, and Tatsumaki Senpuukyaku.

A sequel to Street Fighter, Street Fighter II improved upon the many concepts introduced in the first game, including the use of command-based special moves and a six-button configuration, while offering players a selection of multiple playable characters, each with their own unique fighting style and special moves. The player engages opponents in one-on-one close quarter combat in a series of best-two-out-of-three matches. The objective of each round is to deplete the opponent's vitality before the timer runs out. If both opponents knock each other out at the same time or the timer runs out with both fighters having an equal amount of vitality left, a "double KO" or "draw game" is declared and additional rounds will be played until sudden death. In the first Street Fighter II, a match could last up to ten rounds if there was no clear winner; this was reduced to four rounds in Champion Edition and onward. If there is no clear winner by the end of the final round, then either the computer-controlled opponent will win by default in a single-player match or both fighters will lose in a 2-player match.

Street Fighter Alpha 2 is both a sequel and a remake to the previous year's Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors' Dreams, which is itself a prequel to the Street Fighter II series in terms of plot and setting. The single-player mode, much like the original Street Fighter Alpha, consists of eight matches with computer-controlled opponents, including a fixed final opponent whose identity depends on the player's selected character. Each character also has a secret "rival" whom they can face during the course of the single-player mode after meeting certain requirements, in which then the rival will interrupt one of the player's regularly scheduled matches and exchange dialogue with the player's character. With Akuma now a regular character, a more powerful version of the character dubbed "Shin Akuma" replaces him as a secret opponent. Unlike Super Turbo and the original Alpha, Shin Akuma challenges the player before the player's final opponent, rather than as an alternate final boss.

Street Fighter is a Japanese-American animated television series produced by InVision Entertainment in corporation with Madhouse and Sunrise, based on the Street Fighter live action movie, which was in turn based on the Street Fighter video game franchise by Capcom. The series aired as part of the USA Network's Cartoon Express and Action Extreme Team lineups. It lasted two 13-episode seasons which aired from 1995 to 1997, for a total of 26 episodes.
