Character Analysis
(Avoiding Spoilers)
Overview... a young man with a lot of responsibility on his shoulders. It's not that Li Shang isn't a competent army captain—with his father a general in the Chinese army, Shang's got more than enough experience for the role—but he just didn't expect everything to happen so... quickly. With the Huns encroaching on the Great Wall and his father off in battle, Shang's got to step up to the plate and train a group of new recruits for war.
Personality... thoughtful, serious, and commanding. Despite his misgivings, Shang is a good leader, and he quickly earns the respect of his men. But being a leader means a certain amount of square-ness, and when moral waters get murky, Shang must choose between listening to his honor or his heart.
