Overview… an aspiring inventor currently living in an orphanage. Lewis wants nothing more than to find his real family. After many failed attempts to invent a device that will locate his long lost mother, Lewis is visited by a mysterious boy who claims to be visiting from the future– 2037 to be exact. The boy, Wilbur, decides to bring Lewis back to the future to prove that he is actually from there.
Personality… inquisitive and intelligent. Even though his inventions tend to fail, Lewis is not one to give up. He manages to endear Wilber’s wacky family, the Robinsons, with his innocence and determination.

In this animated adventure, brilliant preteen inventor Lewis creates a memory scanner to retrieve his earliest recollections and find out why his mother gave him up for adoption. But when the villainous Bowler Hat Guy steals the machine, Lewis is ready to give up on his quest until the mysterious Wilbur Robinson shows up on the scene, whisking Lewis to the future to find the scanner and his mom.
