Character Analysis

(Avoiding Spoilers)

Grew up… in Hong Kong where he became as a disciple of the Shaolin martial arts form. Learning from his teacher, Sifu, has made him strong, agile, and smart.

Visiting… a remote island in Asia. Lee was invited to go there by a former student of Shaolin, Han, who is holding a competition for a martial arts school he owns.

Profession… secret agent for British Intelligence. Apparently, Han is suspected of running a drug trafficking ring under the guise of a martial arts school. The island is almost completely impenetrable, and seeing this as a good opportunity to get some evidence to bring down Han, a British intelligence agent recruited Lee to help him. After learning that Han's bodyguard murdered Lee’s sister, Lee signs on – not only to help with the mission but also to get revenge.

Relationship Status… single.

Challenge… uncovering the drug den of the island without being discovered, and managing to stay alive with skilled fighters willing to murder all around him. Luckily, Lee has the best weapon of all: his own body. Lee says the secret to his fighting success is simple: “When the opponent expands, I contract. When he contracts, I expand. And when there is an opportunity, I do not hit. It hits all by itself.”

Personality… fierce, quick, and peaceful. Lee is devoid of all vanity (he doesn't believe that the notion of self exists) and is committed to a constant state of readiness. Although he's a fighting machine, he's got a heart of gold.
