Overview... failed novelist turned travel writer. Lee Simon jumps headfirst into the world of celebrity tabloids, getting in over his head. The raucous lives of celebrities and the journalists who surround them becomes a trigger for Lee’s neuroses rather than a cure.
Personality… neurotic and fame-seeking. Lee is unable to give himself fully to a relationship, not only because he was married to a crazy woman (Robin), but also because he himself is quite mentally unstable. He wants a new start after his midlife crisis but is perhaps looking in the wrong places.

The career and personal life of writer Lee are at a standstill, so he divorces his bashful wife, Robin, and dives into a new job as an entertainment journalist. His assignments take him to the swankiest corners of Manhattan, but as he jumps from one lavish party to another and engages in numerous empty romances, he starts to doubt the worth of his work. Meanwhile, top TV producer Tony falls for Robin and introduces her to the world of celebrity.
