Character Analysis

(Avoiding Spoilers)

Living… in Los Angeles, in the Murder House. He used to live with his wife, Lorraine, and two daughters, Margaret and Angie. After six months, Larry started to hear voices that told him to set his house on fire while everyone else was asleep, and he listened. He was left with scars covering over seventy percent of his body, and he was the only one to survive. Larry went to jail for the triple homicide, but he blames the darkness in the house for the murders. Fortunately for Larry (and unfortunately for everyone else), he was let out of prison for having terminal and inoperable brain cancer.

Profession… unemployed, but he wants to go into acting. He needs a thousand dollars to pay for some headshots for his auditions.

Relationship Status… single. He previously had feelings for his neighbor, Constance Langdon.

Challenge… carrying the guilt from murdering his family. He desperately wants to warn the new tenants of the Murder House, the Harmons, of the dangers of their house.

Personality… impulsive and prone to nagging. Once Larry enters someone’s life, it is almost impossible to get rid of him. If the murders did not make this clear enough, his morals are very questionable. He has nothing left, so he will use blackmail and pestering to get what he wants. Larry’s perception of boundaries goes away once he decides that he wants to do something as well.
