Lance Brumder

Overview… an overweight stoner who is, in the words of his brother, “perpetually recovering from the night before.” Lance lives at home with his mother and overachieving brother Shaun. He spends his afternoons watching re-runs of Spongebob Squarepants – that is when he’s not still asleep on the bathroom floor. Lance can’t seem to understand why Shaun wants to leave Orange County and go all the way up to Stanford: “Dude, I never went to college and check me out. I’m kick ass!”

Personality… lazy and crude, yet incredibly loyal. Lance’s buffoonish behavior often annoys the other members of his family. His marijuana-induced delusions of grandeur, like his idea to start his own “hat and t-shirt” company, can lead to intense, passionate speeches. But when it comes down to it, Lance will always be there for his little brother Shaun: “I love you dude. We don’t say it enough. We don’t say it enough. And it’s true. And it’s not the drugs, buddy.”
