(Avoiding Spoilers)
Overview… a 37-year old career-oriented woman who has finally decided to have kids. However, Kate discovers that her T-shaped uterus only gives her a one-in-a-million chance of conceiving. Undeterred, she hires a surrogate and starts nesting in anticipation for the birth of her child. Kate’s life is thrown upside-down, though, after her immature surrogate, Angie, shows up homeless at her front door. Throughout the pregnancy, Kate and her surrogate’s opposing personalities clash, as Kate must deal with an adult who’s really more like a giant baby.
Personality… driven, cautious, and mature. A micromanager, Kate enjoys planning ahead, and always being prepared. In her own words, she admits: “I'm sorry, I'm a little overly thorough. Some people would say that I am bossy and controlling.” Expecting those around her to be organized and mature as well, she is often unprepared to deal with any sort of chaos.
