Kate Spencer

Living… in the suburbs of Portland, Oregon.This is the most recent in a long line of cities where Kate and her single mother have lived, and once again, Kate is about to reprise her role as the new girl in school. 

Interests… Cheap Trick, Elvis Costello, and obscure podcasts. She bonds with Scott Tucker over their mutual love of rock music.

Profession… a waitress at a local restaurant, where she often serves her fellow students, specifically John Tucker and his multiple girlfriends.

Relationship Status… pretending to date the most popular boy in school. Kate doesn’t have feelings for John, but she agrees to enter into a relationship with him in order to help his former girlfriends get revenge.

Challenge… convincing John to date her. Kate’s pretty and nice, but she’s not the most popular girl in school, and getting the star of the basketball team to notice her isn’t easy. 

Personality… perceptive, responsible, and insecure. Kate has always felt invisible, watching everyone else rather than participating. She’s friendly and clever, but she needs some prompting to come out of her shell.
