Katana

Overview... a fierce bodyguard. Though Task Force X is made up mostly of coerced criminals, Katana (a.k.a. Tatsu Yamashiro) is a voluntary member of the team. An expert swordsman, Katana cuts down her enemies with Soultaker—a mystical blade that traps the souls of her victims. She serves as Colonel Rick Flag’s bodyguard and she protects him not only from the task force’s super-powered enemies, but also from its less than trustworthy members.  

Personality... fearless, brutal, and tortured. Katana has a moral code but it doesn’t stop her from ruthlessly destroying her enemies. As she asserts, “Criminals deserve no mercy.” But Katana isn’t just a heartless killer. She remains deeply distraught by the death of her husband, whose soul is trapped inside her prized sword.
