Grew Up... in a wealthy, elite family, granting her an almost God-like status at her school. Shinomiya has been sheltered her whole life and is under extreme pressure from her family to be successful. Unfortunately, she isn’t very close to her family and relies a lot on her servant and classmate, Ai Hayasaka.
Living… as a student at Shuchi’in Academy. Shinomiya lives without a phone, is not connected to the internet, and her only social interaction occurs at school. A top student, Shinomiya spends much of her time studying.
Profession… student council vice president. Always hoping to be number one, Shinomiya isn’t thrilled about being Vice President, especially since it’s her crush and rival, Shirogane, who is President. But she’s grateful to have an excuse to spend time with him.
Interests… archery. One activity that can steal Shinomiya’s focus is archery, which she is very talented at.
Relationship Status… complicated. Despite not understanding it herself, Shinomiya is clearly in love with Shirogane, but her competitive spirit will never yield and let her accept and confess her love for him. Thus, the only way for Shinomiya to win is to make Shirogane confess his love first. With the pair’s genius intellect, insane determination, and unyielding stubbornness, there’s rarely a moment when Shirogane isn’t on Shinomiya’s mind. The two spend a lot of time with each other, but many times they are at war—trying to trick and mentally dominate the other, neither one wanting to lose by showing the tiniest bit of attraction to the other.
Personality… competitive, cold, and clever. Shinomiya is known as an ice queen due to her cool demeanor. Due to her privileged and sheltered upbringing, Shinomiya can be clueless, demanding, and ungrateful. She’s under a lot of pressure leading her to be extremely competitive, cautious, and prone to overthinking and anxiety. Luckily, however, she is naturally gifted at most things and a genius.
