Kaecilius

Living… forever, hopefully. Kaecilius hungers for immortality and he doesn’t care who he has to murder to achieve his aim: “People think in terms of good and evil, but really, time is the true enemy of us all. Time kills everything.”

Profession… leader of the Zealots. When the Ancient One’s training failed to satisfy his thirst for knowledge, he left the Masters of the Mystic Arts with other disillusioned students. Together, they fight against their former master and seek to unleash the powers of the Dark Dimension.  

Relationship Status… alone and heartbroken. Kaecilius came to the Masters of the Mystic Arts after losing everyone he ever loved. Eventually, his desire to overcome his grief was replaced by a lust for power.

Challenge… merging with the Dark Dimension. Kaecilius believes that this is the key to immortality. By harnessing the powers of the Dark Dimension, he could save the entire human race. If only the Ancient One would stop getting in his way…

Personality… as ruthless as he is brilliant. The Ancient One once considered Kaecilius to be her most promising disciple. Upon his defection, it became clear that he lacked her compassion. To Kaecilius, people are disposable: “tiny momentary specks within an indifferent universe.”
