Overview… a Los Angeles housewife married to a woman named Nic. Jules has never quite known what she wants to do with her life. Now, she’s decided that she wants to be a landscape designer, and with a little help from her wife’s income she can follow this latest dream. But the free-spirited Jules runs into trouble when she meets the charming Paul, the sperm donor who gave her and Nic their children.
Personality… kind but unfocused. Jules is the homebody in her marriage. It’s always been her job to take care of the kids and keep the house in order, but sometimes that’s just not enough, and she’s prone to making mistakes. As she puts it, “Sometimes, y’know, you’re together so long, that you just… You stop seeing the other person. You just see weird projections of your own junk.”

When one of their children reaches age, both kids go behind their mothers' backs to meet with the donor. Life becomes so much more interesting when the father, two mothers and children start to become attached to each other.
