Grew Up… with the wealth and luxury corresponding to a noble family. John went to Eton, the most elite prep school in England, and once fought James Bond there. With instinctive combat skills, John actually survived the brawl with the future 007 and lived to tell the tale. John served extensively in World War II, working with the Intelligence Corps. He even achieved the rank of Major before becoming a spy for the Ministry.
Living… practically at the Ministry. Not everything in the agency is at it seems, however. Unbeknownst to John, someone in their ranks has turned against them. But, who?
Profession… spy. John and his trademark accessory-turned-weapon umbrella are a force to be reckoned with. John's sleuthing skills are being put to the test when he and a new associate, Emma Peel, are sent to investigate Prospero’s sabotage – a secret Ministry project aimed at controlling the weather. Their search leads to Sir August de Wynter, an evil weather-obsessed scientist who used to work for the Ministry.
Interests… serving the Ministry and the Queen for the good of England – and doing a bloody good job at it.
Relationship Status… single. But he's intrigued by Emma Peel, his new partner. At one point, he admits that because Emma might be a psychopath, she is just his type. Who says you can't mix business with pleasure?
Challenge… stopping de Wynter from taking over the world's weather by altering the meteorological conditions of the entire planet. Finding de Wynter’s hidden island, where the Prospero device is being held, is John’s top concern.
Personality… smart, capable, and professional. He's also a prodigious fencer. John is basically the best of Britain – well-dressed and classy, but also able to handle himself in a tight spot with brio.
