Overview… saxophonist playing the blues. After witnessing a brutal mob hit, Joe finds himself running for his life. In order to stay incognito, he and his friend Jerry have disguised themselves as woman and managed to join an all-female band. While traveling to a gig in Florida, Joe and Jerry meet the beguiling blonde singer, Sugar Kane. As he falls for Sugar, Joe devises a scheme – and another identity – in order to woo her. He’s disguised himself as a preppy millionaire, the heir to Shell Oil.
Personality… charming, daring, and manipulative. Joe has a reputation as a gambler and ladies man. Like any good saxophonist, Joe lives a bit on the edge. He’ll lie, cheat, or steal in order to get what he wants.

Two musicians witness a mob hit and struggle to find a way out of the city before they are found by the gangsters. Their only opportunity is to join an all-girl band as they leave on a tour. To make their getaway they must first disguise themselves as women, then keep their identities secret and deal with the problems this brings—such as an attractive bandmate and a very determined suitor.
