Character Analysis

(Avoiding Spoilers)

Overview… an outspoken and irreverent U.S. Marshal during the post-Civil War era dubbed Reconstruction. Jim West prefers to fight fire with fire. They call it the “Wild” West for a reason, and Jim’s modus operandi, in the words of President Ulysses S. Grant, is: “shoot first, shoot later, shoot some more, and then when everybody’s dead try to ask a question or two.” When Jim’s not on duty protecting the United States from internal enemies, he can be found seducing women – his primary weakness – at the local saloon.

Personality… wild, dangerous, and trigger-happy. Jim West isn’t really into conversation or diplomacy. Like a true cowboy, he believes that actions speak far louder than words. Not that he won’t hesitate to say what’s on his mind, too.
