Overview… a bass player who accidently witnessed a brutal mob hit. Jerry and his friend Joe are on the run for their lives. In order to avoid the dangerous mobster “Spats” Columbo, they cross-dress and join an all-female band headed for Florida. Jerry, AKA “Daphne,” turns out to have a male admirer in Osgood Fielding III, an immature millionaire. Jerry, though, still has eyes for his voluptuous colleague, the singer Sugar Kane Kowalczyk.
Personality… enthusiastic and jovial. Of the two, Jerry is enjoying his stint with the all-girl band much more. It’s giving him privileged access to Sugar Kane. He also doesn’t mind the attention he’s been getting from Osgood – especially if said attention involves diamonds.

Two musicians witness a mob hit and struggle to find a way out of the city before they are found by the gangsters. Their only opportunity is to join an all-girl band as they leave on a tour. To make their getaway they must first disguise themselves as women, then keep their identities secret and deal with the problems this brings—such as an attractive bandmate and a very determined suitor.
