Overview... a Pulitzer-prize winning photojournalist. James first rose to prominence after snapping an elegant photo of his friend Superman. But in order to establish his own identity, James moves from Metropolis to National City to work as the art director for CatCo Worldwide Media. On the first day at his new job he makes an instant connection with an assistant named Kara Danvers, just as she decides to start protecting the city as Supergirl. Since he already knows her heroic cousin, Kara invites James to join her Supergirl support team.
Personality... calm, measured, and a little insecure. Though he projects an air of confidence, James Olsen isn’t quite as self-assured as he pretends to be. He worries that his success is due to his famous connections and not his innate talent. However despite his anxieties, James is a loyal friend who will always be there for those he cares about – especially Kara.
