Jake

Living… at college, in the fall of 1980. Jake has been recruited to play for the Southeast Texas Cherokees college baseball team. He moves into a house he will be sharing with his fellow baseball teammates. He shares a room with a boy named Billy, who they nickname Bueter because of his redneck accent. 

Profession… college student and baseball player. Jake goes to college, but he doesn’t seem to be as interested in his classes as he is in baseball.

Interests… baseball, and more baseball. In high school, Jake was an impressive pitcher. Jake is also very good at ping pong, and enjoys partying with his fellow teammates. 

Relationship Status… single. But on move-in day, Jake meets a pretty girl named Beverly who seemed to be into him… 

Challenge… enjoying himself as much as possible in the few days before college. Jake is excited for the relaxed lifestyle college promises, and the first few days are only the beginning of his college years.

Personality… laid-back, curious, and kind. Jake is certainly not as crude as the older players on his team. But he is young too, and still likes to party, just like the rest of them.
