Jack Callaghan

Grew Up… in a traditional family home in the suburbs north of Chicago. Jack’s brother, Peter, was always the star of the family. Though the two had little in common, Jack and Peter had a good relationship growing up.

Visiting… his childhood home and Northwestern Medical Hospital following Peter’s accident. Peter fell on the train tracks of the subway and is now in a coma. His large and colorful extended family has gathered at the hospital to be there for Peter. And to everyone’s surprise, they have just met another person who is joining their family: Lucy, Peter’s fiancé who they have never heard about before.

Profession… working for the family business, Callaghan and Son. Jack dreams of building furniture for a living, but he doesn’t know how to tell his father that he wants out.

Relationship Status… single. If Lucy weren’t engaged to his brother, she’d be just Jack’s type.

Challenge… not falling in love with his brother’s fiancée while Peter is in a coma. Even though Jack is suspicious of Lucy at first, the two get along very well, and Jack can’t help but be attracted to her effortlessly likeable charm.

Personality… goofy, loving, and loyal. Despite knowing that Peter isn’t the most upstanding guy, Jack refuses to act on his feelings for Lucy because Peter is his brother. Jack is thoughtful and likes to be there for his loved ones.
