Grew Up... at Mt. Aleph. Isaac was born at the base of Mt. Aleph, a dormant volcano that serves as a shrine for the powers of the four elemental stars.
Living... in Vale. Due to its proximity to a massive Psynergy stone, everyone in the secluded town of Vale has some amount of magical ability.
Profession... Venus Adept. Like his parents and friends, Isaac is an Adept, a person capable of using Psynergy-based magical powers based on the elements earth, wind, fire, and water. Isaac is most skilled in Venus or Earth magic, producing spells like giant hands and summoning Djinn creatures.
Interests... studying Psynergy. Isaac is a voracious learner, and turns to town scholar Kraden for help in improving his Psynergy abilities. He is also a great swordsman.
Relationship Status... married. In the future, Isaac marries his childhood friend Jenna. The two have a son named Matthew who ends up becoming the hero of his own adventure.
Challenge... preventing the return of Alchemy. Long ago, humans of Weyard wielded the power of Alchemy, but they couldn’t handle it and the world was almost destroyed. To prevent another calamity, Alchemy was split into four separate pieces. But when two Mars Adepts, Saturos and Menardi, attempt to reunite those pieces, Isaac must stop them to maintain peace.
Personality... virtuous. He can be a little stubborn at times, but Isaac is a caring, strong leader loved by his friends, family, and community.

Golden Sun features an adventure filled with tried-and-true overhead-wandering, random-battle gameplay that looks absolutely sweet on the Game Boy Advance small screen. You play Isaac, a young swordsman and resident of the town of Vale, and at the beginning of the adventure a storm is brewing outside that forces Isaac to flee to safety. But every virtual adventurer knows that it's never as simple as that, and eventually you're thrust into the role of the world's savior, befriending other skilled adventurers that will join your crusade. There's strength in numbers, as the phrase goes.
