Character Analysis

Grew Up… without his mother, who was killed by a Demon right before his eyes. After she died, Inosuke was raised by wild boars. Because of his unusual upbringing, he relies on his survival tact and is not familiar with “normal” human interaction. Thanks to his companion, Tanjiro, he is slowly learning about human customs and friendship.
Living… on the road with his newfound buddy, Tanjiro, and Tanjiro’s sister, Nezuko.
Profession… Demon Slayer. The training is intense. As Inosuke says, “There are no shortcuts. Only hard work. Train hard and be patient. It will pay off.” He is extremely competitive, and when he loses to someone smaller than him, it destroys his soul.
Challenge… accepting defeat. Inosuke enjoys the rush of battle and the praise that comes with his status. But he doesn’t know when to call it quits; he considers himself to have no limits. His desire to be the best and reach the top invites great dangers, and he must learn to stop and think before jumping into action.
Personality… short-tempered, proud, and protective. Inosuke has a huge ego that he needs to keep in check. For example, he is known to introduce himself as “King of the Mountains.” Inosuke is prone to engage in wild antics if it means it earns him the respect and admiration he seeks. Often instigating fights, he encourages anyone to pick a fight with him.
