Overview… the new guy at Stars Hollow High, who just moved to town from Chicago. Dean is a typical teenage boy, with a penchant for fixing cars and sports. He isn’t the smartest kid at school, but he loves to read and he’s noticed that cute girl Rory Gilmore always has a book in her hand.
Personality… kind, hard-working, and a bit hot-headed. When Dean brings someone into his life, he becomes totally devoted to them. Although that devotion can sometimes turn into a bit of jealousy, Dean is supportive and can always be counted on to be there for the people he loves.

Gilmore Girls is set in Stars Hollow, an idyllic New England town with one traffic light and ton of kooky characters. Lorelei Gilmore is a single mom raising Rory, the daughter she had when she was only 16. She doesn't follow any parenting instruction manuals; she raises Rory as only she could. That means Chinese food-fueled movie marathons and gabbing at the local coffee shop.
