Overview… the Duchess of Devonshire, as of quite recently. Georgiana transitions seamlessly into court, gaining praise for her fashion and political sense. Everyone seems to adore Georgiana except for her new husband, William Cavendish. He is cold and distant, refusing to open up to his wife while engaging in many extramarital affairs. Thus, Georgiana must learn to cope without affection from the person who is supposed to love her most.
