Frank Tupelo

Overview… an American math professor on a solo trip to Venice. Frank Tupelo is in Italy trying to mend a broken heart. Enter Elise Clifton-Ward, the type of woman who can do just that. Frank is immediately attracted to the inscrutable beauty and she, astonishingly enough, seems to reciprocate. They embark on a whirlwind romance and Frank becomes even more infatuated with Elise. Little does he know just how much danger and baggage she comes with.  

Personality… unassuming and easy-going, but quite perceptive. Frank simply cannot believe how someone as ordinary as himself is with someone as extraordinary as Elise. She’s stunning, cultured, and mysterious, and he is, well, a bit awkward. Something must be up – and he is going to find out what it is.
