Living... in Japanese-occupied San Francisco with his girlfriend, Juliana Craine. After the Nazis and the Japanese won World War II, they took control of the United States.
Profession... factory worker. He works in a factory where they make replica guns because the Japanese have a great interest in American memorabilia.
Interests... art and jewelry. He often draws his girlfriend Juliana as a sign of his love for her, and he makes her custom jewelry. But now that Juliana is accused of treason, things have become much more complicated for them both.
Challenge... hiding a secret that he is Jewish from the Japanese and Nazi governments that will kill him if they knew the truth. Pretending to hate Jews is taking a toll on him. As he says, “It takes a lot of effort not to be free. I kept my head down for so long, I forgot what it feels like to stand up.”
Personality... quiet, creative, and cautious. Frank keeps to himself, but he is starting to realize it may time to have his voice heard.
