First Doctor

Visiting… 1960s England in his time ship disguised as a police box from the era. While his granddaughter Susan attends Coal Hill School, the Doctor paces away inside the ship Susan smartly named “the TARDIS.” Susan tells her teachers it stands for: “Time and Relative Dimension in Space.”

Profession… a doctor, of course. Doctor Who? That’s up to you to decide. The Doctor is very secluded and keeps his past close to his heart. He shows great proficiency in science and an eerie aptitude for the workings of the universe. 

Interests… science and space exploration. The Doctor has knowledge that certainly rivals what was known in the 1960s. He enjoys sounding clever in front of others, and his intelligence is no small feat. His mind can get ahead of him, though and he needs to learn how to humble himself over the course of adventures with his companions.

Relationship Status… none. Any old bonds he may have shared have long since abandoned him. The Doctor has great responsibilities with his granddaughter Susan under his wing. And he also brought two teachers aboard, Ian and Barbra. The teachers find his strangeness alarming at first, but over time the Doctor learns how to be a better and kinder leader. 

Challenge… solving conflicts through history and across the universe. Life in the TARDIS is dangerous, and the Doctor must also find himself protecting those who travel with him. Even Susan, equipped with similar knowledge of the universe is still young and must be safeguarded. The Doctor defends the universe from those that wish to harm it, which often requires putting his own life on the line. The Doctor is not one to mess with. As he says, "I don't make threats. But I do keep promises. And I promise you I shall cause you more trouble than you bargained for.”

Personality… intelligent, quirky, and a bit crotchety. The Doctor has a hard time connecting with others and can come across as a curmudgeon. But he has a softer side, especially when it comes to his granddaughter. He’d do anything for her.
