Growing Up… in Uppsala, Sweden in the early 1900s. Fanny used to be surrounded by a loving family, who were raising her to become a happy and vibrant young woman. But things are very different now.
Living… unfortunately without her father who died suddenly of a stroke. Her father appreciated the joys of poetry, art, and theater. But after his untimely death, her mother remarried the Bishop of Uppsaka. Fanny now lives in a sad, austere house, with her mother and brother, Alexander.
Profession… student and part-time actor. Her mother and father used to run the theater in Uppsala, putting on stage productions. Fanny enjoyed acting alongside her parents, seeing their work, and being a part of their world.
Interests… playing and staying up past her bedtime. Fanny likes a good pillow fight too. But nothing interests her in the new house.
Challenge… retaining a happy childhood. Fanny is trying to bring color back into her world. To distance herself from the Bishop, Fanny and Alexander must find a way back into a place where dreams, magic, and laughter still exist.
Personality… kind, fun loving, and obedient. Fanny is a good daughter to her mother and a good sister to Alexander.
