Overview… a flirty fashionista. The 18-year-old Fanny Brawne likes dresses and dances. As a result, her avid pursuit of the deeply intellectual John Keats is widely ridiculed. How could he be interested in such a frivolous girl, others wonder? Nevertheless, Fanny is set on winning his affection.
Personality... feisty and self-assured. Fanny is quick to anger and slow to forgive. Anybody who gets on her bad side is in for the tongue-lashing of a lifetime. Just ask Mr. Charles Brown.

In 1818, high-spirited young Fanny Brawne finds herself increasingly intrigued by the handsome but aloof poet John Keats, who lives next door to her family friends the Dilkes. After reading a book of his poetry, she finds herself even more drawn to the taciturn Keats. Although he agrees to teach her about poetry, Keats cannot act on his reciprocated feelings for Fanny, since as a struggling poet he has no money to support a wife.
