Character Analysis
(Avoiding Spoilers)
Overview... a 1920s librarian and aspiring Egyptologist. Evie moved from England to Cairo to better study her favorite topic – ancient Egypt. And since her scheming brother Jonathan is equally interested in Egyptian treasure, the duo enlist rugged American adventurer Rick O'Connell to lead them to the lost city of Hamunaptra in search of the fabled Book of Amun-Ra.
Personality... brilliant, adventurous, resourceful, and a little clumsy. Evie is nearly as likely to successfully translate an ancient text as she is to knock over the whole ancient text section of the library. Although she’s lived most of her life in academia, she’s brave, quick-witted, and good at thinking outside the box. Most of all, she’s desperate to prove herself to the stodgy colleagues who feel she “lacks experience.”
