Eve Harrington

Grew Up… smitten with Margo Channing’s brilliant acting, and dreaming of herself becoming a wonderful Broadway star one day. She grew up poor and lost her young husband to the war. That gave her even more focus to pursue her passion.

Living… closer to her dreams than ever before. Eve claims to have followed Margo Channing’s every performance, from San Francisco to New York City, and it isn’t long before Eve gets to meet Margo. And as if things couldn’t get any better, Eve is eventually given a chance to be Margo’s understudy. Eve can’t help herself – once she gets her hands into the pie of acting, she just keeps taking and taking.

Profession… aspiring actress. Broadway has always been a magical dream for Eve, and now that she might have a shot of working under Margo Channing, she couldn’t be more thrilled. In fact, she has a lot of plans in the making, now that this opportunity has availed itself…

Interests… theater and getting out about town. You could say that Eve is something of a socialite, and despite her poor upbringing, she always acts like a proper lady – in the eyes of her public, at least.

Relationship Status… single. All kinds of men have their eyes on Eve. She, on the other hand, only has eyes for a man who can help her climb the ranks of the Broadway system.

Challenge… becoming a bright shining star. The only thing standing in her way is the fact that there isn’t enough room at the top with Margo Channing sitting up on the golden pedestal. Eve says she has so much respect for Margo, though, and claims to be overjoyed simply to be an understudy.

Personality… goal-oriented, charming, and manipulative. If you ask her, she’ll tell you that everything she does is just for the love of the stage. In her own words, “If nothing else there’s applause... like waves of love pouring over the footlights and wrapping you up.” But how far will Eve go in pursuit of that applause?
