Ethel Muggs

Profession… student at Riverdale High with the rest of the gang.

Interests… science fiction and cooking. Science fiction is something she has in common with Dilton, a nerdy boy at school she occasionally dates. She’s also spectacular at cooking and baking, both skills she often uses to try and impress her longtime crush, Jughead. I mean, the best way to a man's heart is through his stomach, right?

Relationship Status... single. Ethel has a bit of a reputation for being boy-crazy. In fact, there’s one crown-wearing, food-obsessed boy named Jughead; she has a history of chasing and pining for his affection. Unfortunately, her feelings are generally unreciprocated by Jughead, as he’s usually more preoccupied with the tasty treats she offers him than with Ethel herself. 

Challenge... struggling with body issues and self-image. Due to her tall, lanky appearance, she has been nicknamed ‘Big Ethel’ by others at school. The constant rejection from Jughead and general lack of attention from the other guys at school, who all seem to flock over Veronica and Betty, can get to her and does a number on her self-esteem. This often causes Ethel to doubt herself.

Personality... sweet, bubbly, and lovable. She’s a loyal friend and is exciting to be around. When given a chance, others get to see another side to her, where she is funny, smart, and alluring. Frankly, there’s a lot more than meets the eye with Ethel Muggs.
