Ethan Tremblay

Grew up… in Atlanta, Georgia. Ethan claims that he’s survived on “mostly luck.” The marijuana-addled 23-year-old doesn’t seem to have any common sense or skills necessary to make it in life. “I got ninety friends on Facebook,” he says proudly. “Twelve of them are pending, but I got ninety friends.”

Living… in Hollywood, trying to become an actor. Ethan tries to spend every second of his life improving his acting abilities. His Godfather impression might not be great (or good at all), but at least he has a good stage name. “Tremblay” is a nom de plume; his real last name is Chase.

Visiting… the open road. Ethan and his new friend Peter have found themselves on a cross-country road trip from Atlanta to L.A.

Interests… his “medicine.” Ethan claims to suffer from Glaucoma, for which he constantly needs medical marijuana.

Challenge… make it to California by Friday. Peter needs to get back to L.A. in order to be present for the birth of his son. Ethan — who is responsible for getting the two of them on the No Fly List — needs to make a few pit stops first. It’s important that he stops at the Grand Canyon, where he plans to spread his father’s ashes.

Personality… stupid, bumbling and accident-prone. Ethan means well, but that doesn’t make him competent. He’s finding life difficult trapped in a car with Peter, who is high-strung.
