Grew Up... lonely. Ever since she was eight years old, Erin was an outcast at school. The other kids caught wind of her belief in ghosts and started calling her “ghost girl.” Erin didn’t really have a friend until her junior year when Abby Yates transferred to her high school. The two immediately bonded over their love of ghost stories.
Living... anxiously, in New York City. No matter what she does, Erin always seems slightly out of sync with the world around her.
Profession... doctor of particle physics. Erin publishes papers and teaches at Columbia University, all in hopes of getting tenure. Unfortunately, that proves to be difficult when her colleagues discover her belief in the paranormal, which they dismiss as “crazy.” So Erin joins forces with Abby, engineer Jillian Holtzmann, and New York expert Patty Jenkins in a new paranormal business called The Ghostbusters.
Interests... old-fashioned clothes, pizza, and dancing to celebrate success.
Relationship Status... single. Erin’s too busy to have much time for romance. She does, however, have a big crush on the Ghostbusters’ hunky but dumb receptionist, Kevin. As she babbled when she first met him, “Kevin? That's a manly name! My name’s Erin. With an E... for Every... thing you want.”
Challenge... proving herself to her colleagues and safeguarding New York City. Erin’s always been treated like an outsider because of her belief in ghosts. But being a part of the Ghostbusters gives her a chance to prove herself once and for all. As paranormal activity around New York City begins to increase, it becomes clear that the Ghostbusters are the only ones who can save the city.
Personality... intelligent, reserved, and slightly neurotic. Erin is more of a quiet academic than a natural ghost fighter. She’s eager to be liked and respected, and it can be hard for her to go against the grain. But she has an innate tenacity that keeps her fighting for what she believes in. Above all, however, she’s fiercely loyal to her friends. There’s nothing she wouldn’t do for them.
