Overview… an aspiring writer who is slowly losing hope. Emma Morley left Edinburgh for London with dreams of becoming a published author. Fast forward several years, and she’s working in a run-down Mexican restaurant. The one bright spot in Emma’s life is Dexter, a carefree playboy who she had a one-night stand with after graduation. She considers him her best friend, but unfortunately, he isn’t the most reliable individual.
Personality... dependable, sardonic, and intelligent. Emma is extremely clever and witty, but her lack of success as a writer and the years of working a desolate job are wearing down her confidence. Luckily, Dexter is there to comfort and reassure her.
