Emerald Hayward

Grew Up… in Agua Dulce, California, on a ranch with her father and older brother, OJ. The ranch happens to be part of their family business, the Hayward Hollywood Horses, where they provide horses for film sets. Em’s favorite horse was Jean Jacket, but the job of training him went to her brother, the favorite child. She was used to being overlooked by her father for being a woman, but this prevented her from forming an attachment to the family ranch. Her brother, OJ, was there for her through all of this. The Hayward family has had connections to Hollywood for a long time, as one of their ancestors was the man filmed in the first motion picture, featuring a man riding a horse. As Em says about her family’s Hollywood legacy, "From the moment pictures could move, we had skin in the game."

Living… away from home, but she went back to the ranch following her father’s death. Despite not having the healthiest relationship with her father, her love for her brother is unshakable. Supporting her brother after their loss was important to her. 

Profession… actor, singer, and motorcycle rider. She considers her family's business to be a side hustle.

Challenge… making it big. Em wants to be known for her talents, but she can’t focus on them because of the time and money it is taking to revive her family ranch, which she isn’t even attached to. She would sell it all if she could, but her brother doesn't want to let go of it. She would do just about anything to help him out, including documenting a potentially dangerous supernatural sighting on their ranch. 

Personality… outgoing, caring, and infectiously charming. Em’s charisma is endless. She’s a wonderful combination of talented, bubbly, and brave. While she often jokes around, she is serious when she needs to be.
