Overview… a guitar-playing drifter with a guitar case full of guns. El Mariachi loves taking down drug dealers, but he retired after his last job cost him his lover. That is, until eccentric CIA agent Sands recruits him to take down a corrupt Mexican official and a drug lord named Barillo. El Mariachi is a handsome outlaw who doesn’t like to kill, but doesn’t hesitate to do so when necessary.
Personality… mysterious, honorable, and compassionate. El Mariachi essentially wants to be a force of good in the world, and he figures killing the bad guys is a great start. He’s less a big personality than a big presence, effortlessly magnetic with a subtle charisma that make him irresistible to many who cross his path.
